Resolutions are really not my thing. All that new year new me bullshit, but I don try to make plans and set goals for what I would like to achieve this year. I try not to make it unattainable. Something realistic and achievable with work of course.
This year, I intend to read more books. At least 52 books. A book each week. I actually want to do it like a different genre each month, but it might change sha. Let's see how it goes.

Nah. Goals differ. Resolutions are more like a definite action. For example,

A resolution is,
And in all honesty, to me, resolutions are impossible without the compounding of goals. What you couldn't drop the previous year, chances are you will carry on with it this year if you don't plan properly
Well I will say they both work together because having a resolution, it means you are also having a goal except you just want to have resolutions for having sake. Resolutions shouldn't be something that will be impossible for anyone to achieve, we ate the one making these resolutions, so why don't we go for what we know we can do? It is funny how we make resolutions that we know we are not planning to achieve, lol.

As another year begins, I find myself reflecting on the past and thinking about what I want to accomplish in the coming months. While I don't have any specific resolutions in mind, I do know that there are a few areas in my life where I want to make some positive changes.
One of my top priorities is to make more time for self-care. I tend to get caught up with my work and other responsibilities, and I often neglect my own well-being. This year, I want to prioritize things like exercise, sleep and relaxation in order to take better care of myself.
I am also interested in improving on my writing skill. There are so many things I have always wanted to try, from some new cookings to playing a musical instrument. I am hoping to find the time and motivation to pick up a new hobby and see where it takes me.
In addition to these personal goals, I also want to be more present in my daily life. It is easy to get caught up in the distractions of technology and miss out on what is happening around me. I want to make an effort to put my phone away once in awhile and really focus on the people and experiences in front of me.
Finally, I want to make an effort to connect with others more. Whether it is reaching out to old friends or making an effort to meet new people, building and maintaining relationships is an important part of a happy, fulfilling life.
Overall, I am excited to see where the new year takes me and to work towards achieving my goals, whatever they may be.
